Fasten your seat belts this watch was developed all the way back in the 1950’s on request from Pan-Am pilots asking for accurate watches being able to display multiple time zones
The GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) featured a 24-hour and a 12-hour hand. Combined with the bidirectional 24-hour bezel, this GMT hand would show to the home time zone while the 12-hour hand showed the local time
