The original calibre 3055, is the 5. generation Day-Date movement with 28,800 bph and Quickset.
After being presented in 1956 as the first Rolex showing full spelling of the Day and the Date the 18038 was gifted to the American President Eisenhower and the watch was referred to as “The President”.
